The last few months of the 2010 calendar have brought about some significant opportunities as it pertains to Saturday night racing at the Grundy County Speedway. STARS, LLC has been awarded a contract to promote and operate Midget Automobile Racing for the 2011 season. We have been working diligently to create and develop the appropriate environment for a successful season. A tentative schedule has been created and released. We are also working with several groups to enhance the number of participants throughout the 2011 schedule. Each date on the schedule will be full of driver and fan opportunities to enjoy the experience associated with being a part of this sport.

We are looking to determine the level of interest you and your team may have in returning to the Grundy County Speedway for these Saturday events. In an effort to assist us with this aspect of the process, an information form has been included with this letter. We are asking you to complete the form and either fax it to (815) 725-2965, mail it to Ken Woody Sports & More 3000 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60435, or drop it off at Ken Woody Sports located inside the Inwood ice skating rink. You are not making any commitment by completing the form. Your information will be a great help in our communication efforts and will be kept confidential. Please return the form by Friday, December 17, 2010.

STARS plans on hosting an informational meeting in early January. This meeting will cover the schedule, planned events, other participating organizations, and introduce the 2011 proposed rules. We hope everyone will be able to attend this meeting. Your completed and returned form will ensure you receive timely updates pertaining to this meeting including: the agenda, the location, and the time and date for the meeting.

We are genuinely excited about the 2011 season. We are looking forward to enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved, including the participants, spectators and sponsors.
